At Skeggs Point, mountain bikers find themselves either going up or down but never flat. Don’t even think about trying the single track unless you’re well versed in challenging trails. However, for those looking for a calmer day on the bike, fire roads are also accessible (but not necessarily easy). Skeggs Point is perfect anytime of year but particularly so on hot summer days where riders will find themselves encapsulated by shade giving redwoods. Be aware that there have been mountain lion sightings in the area so make sure to ride with a friend.
