Couldn t sleep so thought it wasn t gunna be pretty .. Weather very cold  at 2 degrees ,  but no ice or wind ,  was misty tho   .. Saw Steve A before the start with Ann n was planning to pace him to a sub 32 .. But lost him a min or two before the start .. Thought I d just run n maybe bump into him .. Was exactly 6 mins at 1k and  100 metres later saw Steve a few secs Infront , near the 29 min pacer !! He must have started closer to the front than me n was about 5.50 at 1k not 6.23 like he should have been lol  .. ooooops .. I then ran with him the rest of the run .. Prob 15.45 at half way .. At 3k Michelle overtook us  but I kept with Steve and she disappeared into the distance  .. He was starting to really struggle now after the  far too fast start .. But I dragged him to the finish line,   I could say "kicking and shouting" but he couldn t speak and ended up with a 57 sec PB ..  With more even pacing he could have been in the 30's I d expect  .. Well done tho for grinding it out .. I let him beat me to gain the extra second at the line  lol .... 31.14 ... 6.01 .. 6.11 .. 6.29 .. 6.25 .. 6.07 ... Boston
