‍How had I not done Ledge-n-Airy before? What a beautiful trail! I highly recommend "Things Become Other Things," by Craig Mod. Meditative and irreverent, maddening and full of reverence. A beautiful photo book of the otherworldly mundane, contrasting the ephemerality of journey with the weight of history. The 300-mile walk through Japan maps what we’ve lost in our culture of self-reliance and—it’s immediate corrollary—other-disdain.
