That didn't feel super fast but it was 30 seconds faster than last month. I had a sluggish start and was a lot more conservative with overtaking in the narrow sections today. Apart from when I ran into the back of that lady. Given that I was wearing x-talons for a Wansfell recce afterwards, that's got to convert into a low 17 time on a fast course.

Wansfell seemed longer than I expected, it will either feel a lot shorter or a lot longer on Saturday. I found the downhill racing line, I can't wait to be overtaken by old men barrelling down the hill as I carefully step my way down.
