Treadmill Recovery

Good morning on the indoor track pacing Joel's 5k time trial (15:49! So stoked for him, he crushed it and shoutout to Cooper for pacing a good chunk of it too). 3 up with a few 100m strides and 3ish down for 11 on the morning. Led the first 800m of the 5k, took 600m recovery, led the next 800m, took 600m recovery, led the next 1600m, and went to the finish line for timing purposes. Did 6x800m w/ 2 min recovery (3 with Cooper!) post 5k. Had like 1:54 recovery after the first two 8s and ~2:30 recovery after the 16. More or less a modified Yasso 800 workout, felt good and strong throughout and was a fun morning at the track. Splits to the nearest second went:  2:35, 2:30, 5:07, 2:34, 2:31, 2:31, 2:31, 2:29, 2:27. (2:31.5 average) Wore the Rabbit half tights I got for Christmas and really liked them, might have to rock them at Houston. Haymakers by Dikembe is a really, really good song, fwiw, especially if you're into bands named about 90s NBA DPOYs.
