Last Park Run of 2025 .. Weather not quite as cold as I feared at about  6 degrees ,  medium wind from North East .. Saw Steve A before the start ,  quite a few of his family was there , Ann and Dean plus a couple of girls .. Was planning a just sub 31 , so 6.10 ISH kilos .. Set off steady but kept loosing Steve in the melee and went thru the first kilo in 6.08 ,  so a couple of secs faster than planned but slower than last week and Steve was nearby so he was about 20 secs slower than last week , so thought he d be able to handle this pace no problem ,  but I lost him  and by the 2 kilo mark he was  about 100 metres behind .. My pace wasn't too much different  than what I had been doing so it  was deffo him slowing .. At 2.2 kilos , I started to walk to let him catch back up .. We got lapped by the leader quite  a bit before half way and was 15.45 at the half way point so the about the same time  as last week .. After that I tried to encourage Steve to keep pace but he was blowing out his arse and had slowed loads ,  we was getting overtook all the time so knew a sub 31 wasn't happening today  ,  but still should be his 2nd fastest time .. His final kilo was pretty fast  but overall his second lap was about 16.08 so over 30 seconds slower than last week when I was hoping for 10 secs  faster lol .... 31.52 ...  6.08 .. 6.02 .. 6.50 .. 6.36  .. 6.13 ... Boston
