Easy treadmill, progressed from 7.5 to 8.5 throughout, 1% for the first 30mins, 1.5% for the next 15, and 2% for the remainder. Wore a long sleeve and got a good sweat in. Didn't feel the best—a little tired from Nora bursting into my room early this morning like the Kool Aid Man and proceeding to kick me for a few hours while I tried to sleep, but nothing I can't catch up on the remainder of this week. It's officially race week and, related to the photo accompanying this post, it's looking like there's at least a chance of Marcus Camby conditions, but I don't want to jinx it by saying exactly what those are. Thought a bit about my race plan, last two marathons have been really good, so it's definitely tempting to feel like I'm playing with house money and to try to really go for it, but there's a fine line between ambitious and needlessly reckless (and potentially stupid?) that I wish / need to respect.
