Day 228: this just keeps getting better and better

Woke up on the construction site to a beautiful sunrise but had to clear out asap before the brick layer arrived 🤣 hilly to start with and once again noooo cafes! It was borderline apocalyptic to be fair! I think this could be partially explained by the storm warnings on place for the coast at the moment…! We headed inland in search of greener pastures (I.e Iced Latte) and struck gold soon enough! 

Then nothing to crazy really! We plied our way through palm forests and drank 7-11 chocobanaa frappes to keep the heat and humidity at bay, and then crossed a train track into a town which seems to be populated almost entirely by school kids which was baffling. There was a market where we bought some satay and a bag of solidified rice to keep the carbs going. We then came to a unanimous decision that a shower was needed asap after 7 days camping so I found a place which turned out to be a petrol station motel. Does the job! 

All clothes washed and they told us that the only place for dinner was on the other side of the motorway…. So we had fun crossing that, and then I used a stick to scare away the snakes in the central reservation which was very overgrown🤣 we are alive!
