Wheels a-blazin', heart a-racin',
Nine minutes and forty-one seconds, what a pace!
Overcast skies, but nothin' could replace,
The joy of skatin' at a speedy 30.5!

Just a smidge of elevation, fourteen meters high,
But my heart was pumpin', oh my, oh my!
One degree, no wind, a perfect day,
To glide and slide, come what may.

A goofy grin, from ear to ear,
Inline skatin' fun, I hold dear.
