Club Track Session - Novice or Accredited - All welcome

Ilkeston CC are back on the Track on Sunday 23rd December from 7am until 9am, with another coached session at The Derby Velodrome. An early session, yes, but hopefully you'll recognise the opportunity to Join in the festive spirit at the Velodrome with your fellow club members.

Participants can expect Mince Pies and mistletoe. You have been warned!

This will be a session for ALL of our Adult club members.
Accredited riders, experienced Track riders, those on the accreditation pathway and even those who might never have ridden the Track before. You're all welcome.

We'll be splitting into two groups on the day and have again enlisted the services of the arenas brilliant Track cycling coaches, both to keep us safe and to pass on their skills and knowledge.

The Novice group can expect a skills session based on level two of the accreditation process, with those who've already passed stage one being assessed. Unaccredited riders who might have already passed stage two or even stage three are encouraged to take part and enjoy this opportunity of more valuable track time.

The accredited riders group can expect a Structured Quality Training type session aimed at building your fitness and improving your Track skillset. Or as Coach Carl likes to put it "to have your legs ripped off and to be tasting blood as per usual", but i'm pretty sure you're all fairly used to that by now!!

Session priced at £18 per adult.
Bike & shoe hire if needed is available from The reception at The Arena upon arrival.

Invites will be sent out by email to all club members beforehand.
If you wish to attend, simply accept the invite and we'll forward a payment request by return to confirm your booking.
First come First served!

Please ensure you arrive at The arena a good 20 minutes beforehand so that we can start enjoying the Track (and the craic) from 7am.
