Tree run Hochwurzen
Hochwurzen has steep and not too tight forest, although for the really steep lines close to the top and all visible from the pistes there needs to be a lot of snow and really safe conditions at the same time....
2
Easy Peasy
Traverse left and ride down the field until you hit the connection slope towards Kaiblingalm (6a). Please take care, do not ride here if there are little trees visible and don't even get close to the area where they have planted new trees....
3
Gumpental
Starting from the top station of Gipfelbahn Hauser Kaibling chairlift you can test your skills in the tracked snow right of the slope, keep rather central in that snowfield and be careful not to ride over the edge to your right....
4
Tree run through open larch forest
This whole run goes along skiers right of Mitterhausabfahrt. Please be aware of the fact that the mountain above you, Krahbergzinken, sometimes releases avalanches on the upper stretch, which also go into the forest....
5
Trees and wider fields
A treeline/free-field combination. You should be able to navigate through narrow tree sections if you want to ski this line - it's out of the resort and riding down the wrong direction might result in a walk or the need to hitch hike....

This one is for skinning or splitboarding only. One can endlessly venture into the backcountry, as long as one respects the wildlife and is as quiet as possible. It's also good to avoid getting too close to bushes and little trees standing exposed above the treeline, as these might be hiding spaces for wildlife....
8
Krahbergzinken
Krahbergzinken is the first peak towards the backcountry seen from Planai and is regularly skinned up by locals,
which means that there normally is a nice skinning track. It will take you approximately an hour to
bootpack up and roughly 45 minutes to skin up....
9
Gasselhöhe Abfahrt
Start bootpacking from the top station of Gasselhöhebahn 2 six person chairlift towards the backcountry. First follow the track from the snow cat and snowmobiles, but do not get too far to the right, always stay where you can still see the ski resort; that's the shortest way....
